Caroline Wozniacki closed out the match on her third match point as she broke Kuznetsova’s serve for the seventh time to wins Dubai Duty Free Womens Open title beating an error-prone Svetlana Kuznetsova of Russia 6-1, 6-3.
Caroline Wozniacki will re-capture the top ranking after just reaching the semifinal, she had lost to Kim Clijster last week, and expected to hold on to that ranking for at least the next four weeks.

Dominguez Lino wins Copa Sony Ericsson Colsanitas title
Seventh-seeded Loudres Dominguez Lino of Spain won her second Copa Sony Ericsson Colsanitas title with 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Frenchman Mathilde Johansson. (She won in 2006 and was finalist 2005)
In the doubles, Edina Gallovits-Hall and Anabel Medina Garrigues saved two match points to beat Sharon Fichman and Laura Pous-Tio, 2-6, 7-6(6), 11-9.
Rybarikova wins The Cellular South Cup
Slovakia's Magdalena Rybarikova won her second title, earning a 6-2 retirement victory over Canada's Rebecca Marino sighting left abdominal injury at The Cellular South Cup.
In the doubles, No.2 seeds Olga Govortsova and Alla Kudryavtseva won the title with a 63 46 108 match tie-break victory over No.4 seeds Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka.
