Wozniacki wins Dubai Duty Free Womens Open

Caroline Wozniacki closed out the match on her third match point as she broke Kuznetsova’s serve for the seventh time to wins Dubai Duty Free Womens Open title beating an error-prone Svetlana Kuznetsova of Russia 6-1, 6-3.

 

Caroline Wozniacki will re-capture the top ranking after just reaching the semifinal, she had lost to Kim Clijster last week, and expected to hold on to that ranking for at least the next four weeks.

Liezel Huber and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez won the doubles title against Kveta Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik

Dominguez Lino wins Copa Sony Ericsson Colsanitas title

Seventh-seeded Loudres Dominguez Lino of Spain won her second Copa Sony Ericsson Colsanitas title with 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Frenchman Mathilde Johansson. (She won in 2006 and was finalist 2005)

In the doubles, Edina Gallovits-Hall and Anabel Medina Garrigues saved two match points to beat Sharon Fichman and Laura Pous-Tio, 2-6, 7-6(6), 11-9.

Rybarikova wins The Cellular South Cup

Slovakia's Magdalena Rybarikova won her second title, earning a 6-2 retirement victory over Canada's Rebecca Marino sighting left abdominal injury at The Cellular South Cup.

In the doubles, No.2 seeds Olga Govortsova and Alla Kudryavtseva won the title with a 63 46 108 match tie-break victory over No.4 seeds Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka.

Roddick wins 30th career ATP title @ Regions Morgan Keegan Championships

Top seed Andy Roddick captured his 30th career ATP title beating Milos Raonic 7-6 (9/7), 6-7 (11/13), 7-5 to deny the Canadian his second title.

Milos Raonic won SAP open title last week, ranked 156th at when the season start will jump to 37th in the ranking the highest ranking for the Canadian Player.

Top seeds Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor edged fourth seeds Eric Butorac and Jean-Julien Rojer 6-2, 6-7(6), 10-3 in the doubles final at Regions Morgan Keegan Championships.

Almagro wins second straight title @ Copa Claro

Nicolas Almagro of Spain won his second consecutive title beating Juan Ignacio Chela 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.

Nicolas Almagro won the Brazil Open last week, this was his 9th ATP title.

For the doubles, Oliver Marach and Leonardo Mayer beat Brazilian duo Franco Ferreiro and Andre Sa 7-6(6), 6-3 in the final.

Soderling beats Cilic in Open 13 final

Robin Soderling of Sweden beat Marin Cilic of Croatia 6-7 (8), 6-3, 6-3 of the Open 13 to earn his ninth career title.

Doubles – Robin Haase and Ken Skupski saved one match point to win Open 13 title, 6-3, 6-7(4), 13-11over French pairing Julien Benneteau and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Soderling defends ABN Amro World Tennis Tournamen title

Swede Robin Soderling successfully defend his title by outlasting Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 6-3 3-6 6-3 at ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament.

Germany's Jurgen Melzer and Austria's Philipp Petzschner beats French Michael Llodra and Serb Nenad Zimonjic for the doubles title.

Raonic beats defending champion to capture the SAP Open title

Milos Raonic wins first ATP tour title beating defending champion Fernando Verdasco 7-6 (6), 7-6 (5) in the final of the SAP Open.

Americans Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram won their second title together againts Alejandro Falla and Xavier Malisse 6-4, 4-6, 10-8 for the doubles title.

Hantuchova wins Pattaya Open, Kvitova wins Open GDF Suez

Daniela Hantuchova won her fourth title after four years, by defeating Sara Errani 6-0 6-2 for the Pattaya Open title.

In the doubles final, No.1 seeds Errani and Vinci beat Sun Shengnan and Zheng Jie 3-6, 6-3, 10-5.

Petra Kvitova took her third title at Open GDF Suez, defeating Kim Clijster 6-4, 6-3 sighting she has slight neck injury but refused to blame injury for the defeat.

Kim Clijster will be the new number one by reaching the semi-finals.

In the doubles final, No.3 seeds Mattek-Sands and Meghann Shaughnessy win over win over Russians Vera Dushevina and Ekaterina Makarova 6-4, 6-2.
