Wozniacki, Zvonavera will play at semis

Top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki stretched her winning
streak to 13 matches by beating 45th-ranked Dominika
Cibulkova of Slovakia 6-2, 7-5 in the U.S. Open to reach
the semis.  With the winds gusting to 33 mph (53 kph).
The play included 43 unforced errors by Cibulkova, which
help Wozniacki win points. Wosniacki has 18 unforced
errors

“We both were trying our best out there,” Zvonareva said.

Wozniacki, the 2009 runner-up at Flushing Meadows, will face No. 7 Vera Zvonareva who beats Kaia Kanepi 6-3, 7-5 that featured 11 service breaks and 88 unforced errors.
