Safina wins over Zvonareva, joins Serena in final


Russia’s Dinara Safina has made her second Grand Slam final after ousting compatriot Vera Zvonareva 6-3 7-6(4) in the semifinals of Australian Open 2009 on Thursday.

Safina, the 2008 French Open finalist, took out Thursday’s semifinal in 105 minutes.

Dinara Safina will face Serena Williams in Finals this Saturdays
